Summer Frozen Yumms

I have been on a huge summer foods kick lately.

First, it was discovering new healthy grilling recipes, and now my latest project has been all about finding healthy popsicle recipes to make for my 12-year-old.

4 brightly colored popsicles.

So, if fruit popsicles are your jam, check out this amazing lineup of frozen yumms perfect for summertime!

Healthy Fruit Popsicle Recipes

While most store-bought fruit popsicles like to create the illusion that they are a ‘healthy‘ treat, many of them are filled with food dyes, additives, and other chemicals that simply shouldn’t be found in our food.

That said, just because something is made at home doesn’t necessarily mean it’s healthy either.

So, if you are on the lookout for healthier popsicle alternatives that cut the chemical crap and are sweetened with natural sweeteners, this one is for you!

  • Single Fruit Popsicle Recipes

While mixed fruit goodness is great, sometimes enjoying a popsicle that features the flavor of a single fruit is just a frozen piece of heaven, you guys!

That said, some of these single fruit popsicle recipes do call for the use of lime or lemon juice, but I still chose to include them in this category simply because one fruit was the star.
