Soup Season is on!
Man, oh man, how I love soup season!
While technically I’m the type of person who enjoys (and makes) soup year-round, I thoroughly enjoy it when soup season officially arrives because my family is more on board with me making soup on the regular.

All that said, October starts tomorrow, and the cooler weather has started to arrive here in Montana.
So, soup season is officially on, you guys!
Healthy Fall Soup Recipes
If you follow Healthy Farmhouse regularly, you know I’ve been all about the fall recipes the past few weeks — including soups.
While there are a number of soups I make regularly in my home, I’m always on the lookout for new ideas, and that’s what this list of healthy fall soup recipes is all about.
So, if you love making (or just eating) soup and need some new healthy recipes for fall, this one is for you (just as much as it is for me).

Pumpkin Soup Recipes
It just wouldn’t be a proper list of fall recipes without a little pumpkin, you guys!
Why? Because Pumpkin is the iconic flavor of fall, of course!

First up on our fall soup recipes list is this vegan curry pumpkin soup – via Strength and Sunshine.
This simple recipe made using pumpkin, olive oil, unsweetened coconut milk, ground cumin, ground ginger, curry powder, salt and pepper, orange bell pepper, Vidalia onion, minced garlic, vegetable broth, and scallions for topping!

Veggie & Bean Soup Recipes
While I generally don’t cook with beans much, I’m a huge fan of veggies in soup!!
These next recipes are perfect for fall and winter — whether you’re serving up dinner for a vegetarian or you simply like a little meatless Monday from time to time.

First up is this Tuscan minestrone – via The Pasta Project.
This incredible-looking dish is served up with orzo, borlotti beans, cabbage, swiss chard, kale, squash (or pumpkin), potatoes, leeks, tomatoes, onion, carrots, celery, olive oil, salt and pepper, parmigiano reggiano, and vegetable stock.
I absolutely love the combination of veggies and greens in this one, you guys!
Plus, it features a fall favorite — Pumpkin (or squash)!

Love to use your slow cooker this time of year? Me too!
This slow cooker 15-bean soup – via Flavorful Eats sounds ike a great one to lean on for busy fall or winter weeknights.
Using beans, smoked ham hocks, celery, onion, garlic, kale, bay leaves, dried thyme, smoked paprika, poultry seasoning, chicken broth, salt, and pepper, and the optional hot sauce for serving, you can easily cook this one up for the whole family to enjoy!
Not going to lie, I cannot wait to try this one!

Cauliflower soup? Ok, sure, I’m game!
While I’ve never personally tried making soup with cauliflower, this creamy cauliflower soup – via Low Calorie Eating sure makes me want to!
You can make this delicious-looking soup at home using cauliflower, garlic, parmesan cheese, onion, chicken broth, sour cream, garlic salt, pepper, and sun-dried tomatoes.
Don’t forget to garnish this bowl of scrumptiousness with crumbled bacon and green onions!
YUM!

Last, but certainly not least, in our veggie soup category is this flawless-looking carrot lentil soup – via Cinnamon Snail.
This amazing soup is made using olive oil, onion, celery, carrots, garlic, ginger, smoked paprika, cumin seeds, coriander seeds, turmeric, crushed red pepper flakes, split red lentils, vegetable stock, maple syrup, and coconut milk, and salt.
As if the wholesome ingredients above weren’t enough, you can garnish this lovely soup with a splash of coconut milk, chili oil, roasted chestnuts, ground black pepper, and cilantro leaves!
This one not only looks amazing, but it sounds incredible!

Sweet Potato Soup Recipes
If sweet potatoes are your jam, you’re going to love this next one!

I decided to include this golden glow soup – via The Peasant’s Daughter, because one of the main ingredients is the fall favorite, sweet potatoes, and it’s incredibly healthy!
While I’m personally not a huge sweet potato fan, this one sounds pretty promising, you guys!
You can make this soup at home using kitchen staples such as chicken thighs, carrots, onions, celery, sweet peppers, bone broth, garlic, kale, lemon, turmeric, ginger, rice, olive oil, parsley, black pepper, salt, and, of course, sweet potatoes!

Meaty Soup Recipes
While technically, the above soup is also a meaty option, it’s also the only one that made the list with sweet potatoes as a main ingredient, which landed it in its own category.

First up, this sausage and potato soup – via The Wholesome Spoon.
This one is my kinda soup, you guys, and I can hardly wait to try it myself!
You can make this wholesome recipe using potatoes, Italian sausage, onion, garlic, diced tomatoes, chicken broth, spinach, heavy cream, olive oil, cornstarch, thyme sprigs, dried basil, salt, and pepper.

Next is this fine-looking ground turkey and cabbage soup – via Flavorful Eats.
While I’m no stranger to cabbage soup as it’s a regular in our home, I’ve never made one quite so amazing looking!
This one is definitely on my try list!
This health-conscious soup is made with butter, carrots, celery, onion, garlic, dried thyme, chicken broth, bay leaves, bouillon cubes, white pepper, salt, and pepper.

This next one looks incredible, you guys!
Not only does this ground turkey and vegetable soup – via Craving Something Healthy include a lean mean like turkey, but it also has lots of veggies and pasta — making this a great family dinner for multiple dietary needs!
Cook this one up in your kitchen using olive oil, ground turkey, carrots, celery, onion, garlic, fennel, kale, tomato juice, chicken stock, kidney beans, crushed fennel seed, crushed red pepper, pasta, kosher salt, basil leaves

Last up in our little meaty soup selection is this gluten-free creamy chicken soup – via The Clean Happy Life.
Not going to lie, but I was sold at creamy chicken.
I love anything creamy, warm, and delicious, and this one looks like a true winner.
This soup is made using butter, onion, garlic, broth, potatoes, chicken, salt, thyme, parsley, shredded carrots, celery, heavy cream, and all-purpose gluten-free flour.

Squash Soup Recipes
Love squash soup? I’ve totally got you!

This purple bone broth – via My Chef’s Apron is definitely one of the more unique-looking dishes on the list, you guys!
The ingredients, however, are not that out of the ordinary!
You can create this hearty dish using purple potatoes, butternut squash, bone broth, onion powder, salt, turmeric, and coconut cream

While pumpkin, squash, and even meaty options are great for fall, these next few are unique and equally awesome!
Check out these last 3 healthy soup recipes perfect for the entire fall season!

It just wouldn’t be a list of healthy fall soup recipes without a little corn, you guys!
While we don’t do corn in our house often (due to health reasons and dietary restrictions) this gluten-free corn chowder, via Candy Floss Life, looks like a great option for an occasional fall weeknight!
Cook this one up using vegetable or chicken broth, olive oil, onion, potatoes, fresh corn, lemon, dill, spring onions or chives, sour cream, trout or salmon fillets, salt, and pepper.
The best part? It sneaks in some fish which has essential nutrients!

Ok, this next one might very well be the most unique soup on the list.
This pear and potato soup – via Food Nutters not only looks good but it sounds freaking incredible, you guys!
I’m a huge mushroom fan, and I love interesting and new flavors.
While my kids might not pick it as an option right off the bat, I will definitely be adding this to our must-try fall soups and hopefully winning them over!
Make this one in your own kitchen using potatoes, pears, parsnips, black trumpet mushrooms, sour cream, olive oil, nutmeg, sesame seeds, honey, salt, pepper, and parsley.
Talk about YUM!

The final soup on this lengthy list of goodness is this carrot and apple soup – via Cinnamon and Kale.
This soup calls for carrots, green apples, onion, butter, olive oil, chicken broth, bay leaf, fresh sage, nutmeg, salt, and pepper.
What better way to settle in after a cold day than with a warm bowl of carrot soup?
